Now we're getting another taste on the clean winter pavement north of Montreal and a few snow-packed ski area access roads. The RS3 shows itself capable of putting a Volkswagen Golf R, BMW 135i or any iteration of Ford Focus RS to shame. The control and sophistication at hand in all conditions is better than anything else in the class. And the Sport ESP and secret-sauce S button — for Sport exhaust and throttle — make it sound as good as it feels from the driver seat.
